AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo featured for Ghana in a 2-2 draw last night against Egypt in the African Cup of nations.
Semenyo had a frustratingly quiet evening in the game, hitting a singular shot on target after playing the entire 90 minutes up front.
The striker joined the Cherries from Bristol City last January and has 3 premier league goals this season.
Ghana took the lead twice in the game, with Semenyo’s Premier League counter part Mohammed Kudus firing both goals in for the black stars.
The draw means Ghana are now winless at the tournament, sitting bottom of the group after losing their opener to Cabo Verde.
The black stars will have to win their last fixture against Mozambique to qualify for the next round.
