Christchurch FC head coach steps down after poor run of results

January 11, 2024 //  by Sub Editor

Christchurch FC head coach Nathan Brown steps down after five straight losses in the Velocity Wessex Football League Premier Division.

Brown took over in September, but after a disappointing season so far, the Church currently sits 18th in the league with 16 losses, four wins, and two draws.

Brown was the second man in charge of the church this season after Olly Cherrett, who took over in the summer, had a brief spell before he left early in September to join Bashley FC.

Christchurch put out a club statement: “Christchurch Football Club would like to extend our gratitude to Nathan Brown and Darren Berry for their dedication and hard work during their tenure at Hurn Bridge.

“As Nathan steps down, we wish him all the best in future endeavours.”
