Bournemouth is still clearing up today after a night of near hurricane force winds.

Gusts reached up to 70mph in some areas.

The Met Office issued an amber alert over the weekend, which stayed in placed until 6am on today.

Residents across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are seeing the effects of Storm Isha into new week.

One resident woke up to find their trampoline lifted off the ground and blown onto the next road during the evening at Talbot Village, Wallisdown.

Some parts of Dorset have been warned by the Met office of potential flooding, but Monday morning has generally looked dry in most parts.

During the gusty conditions yesterday an emergency airlift took place from the windswept West Cliff near the Highcliff Hotel. There are no details yet about the nature of the emergency.
