James Hill has been recalled to Bournemouth from his loan at Blackburn Rovers.
Blackburn will miss Hill who has made 20 appearances and been a key memeber of the Championship side.
Hill said to RoversTV that “this club has given me so much – it has given me an opportunity to play week in, week out.”
“For the rest of my life it always will. Thank you to Blackburn Rovers for giving me that opportunity.”
Hill also spoke about his first and only Championship goal for Blackburn, saying “I’ve got a massive framed photo of that moment actually at home now.”
“It’s my first one on the wall, but it will live fondly in my memories.”
Hill is celebrating his 22nd birthday today, and despite the pain of leaving a club he values so much, his return from loan is much needed for a Bournemouth side that are lacking depth in defence.
Hill can play both at centre-back and right-back, and the unavailability of Lloyd Kelly, Milos Kerkez and Ryan Federicks should mean that Hill will get some valuable Premier League experience for the Cherries.
Iraolo also teased his recall earlier in the January transfer window, where he told the Daily Echo that he thinks “it’s very, very probable that we call him back because he had been really good for them.”
