Local jeweller Massimo Nicoletti is selling his unique, intricate pieces to the celebrity world

Jeweller Massimo Nicoletti has captured the attention of celebrities such as Demi Lovato, Lil Aaron, Ryan Hurst and Joel Madden with his alternative, custom jewellery.

The 27 year old from Landsdown, graduated from Bournemouth University after studying product design. After leaving university, Massimo entered the music industry by creating album covers and Spotify animations before the creation of his jewellery brand.

“I still wanted to do something in the realm of 3D design, 3D aspect and sculpting kind of thing. I kind of just sat down one day and was scrolling through Instagram and I saw some jewellery and I was like ‘I think can probably do that'”.

“So I dedicated 6 months, close to a year actually of just figuring things out, teaching myself mostly, a lot of trial and error and that is how I ended up building this brand.”

To build up his social media following @theclockworkdevil, Massimo reached out to celebrities he had previously worked with.

Massimo’s career as a jeweller has since taken off, selling his statement, self-taught pieces to celebrities, YouTubers and influencers showcasing his dynamic, unique work.

“For Demi Lovato, I think I reached out to her fiance a while back and he ordered a custom ring from me and said his partner had seen a pair of earrings I had done, so I ended up making a pair of earrings for her.”

“I see my jewellery as more like art, in the jewellery industry it is kind of common to judge a piece based on the materials used but I just disagree with that.”
