A club is currently touring local schools, with a focus on helping neurodivergent children through the use of LEGO Robotics.
The club, run solely by Sam Ramsay, offers sessions after school to those looking to expand their hobbies and horizons, and on Saturday morning held a session to the public at the Kinson Community Centre.
Sam said the sessions engage neurodivergent children at length, something which other clubs have been unable to offer.
The session focused on building and battling LEGO Robots, reinforcing concepts and understanding of STEM.
Sam’s inspiration came after helping his daughter with a robotics lesson at school, and his passion for it blossomed after purchasing his own LEGO Mindstorms.
He now has regular sessions planned over the next few months around the South West, aiming to inspire even more people.
