In the early hours of Sunday morning, Portland United Youth football club woke up to suspected car marks left on their playing fields.
Tyre marks could be seen on the corner of one of the small sided football pitches.
The club were left extremely saddened by this and unfortunately it means this playing area will be unavailable for months as the club look to repair the damage done.
With Portland United run by local volunteers, this act of vandalism is a stab in the back to the community as the club provide a safe and enjoyable environment for over 300 players and 16 teams week in week out.
