Local restaurant is offering free meals to children across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Chicken & Blues are offering a free junior meal to children under 12 until the end of February. The giveaway is in partnership with the company’s neighbourhood fund, which started during the pandemic to support their local community.
Co-founder of Chicken & Blues, Steve Crawford says:
“With the cost-of-living crisis that obviously everyone is feeling the pinch with, we’re using the Chicken & Blues ‘Neighbourhood fund” to give away up to 5,000 kids meals.” “One if the pillars of the Chicken & Blues brand is that we try our best to support the local communities we trade from.”
Parents can redeem the voucher on their website before the 31st January. The voucher can be used when dinning in, ordering online or over the counter.
There is a maximum of one voucher per family and the offer is not reliant on purchasing other items from the menu.
Chicken & Blues started as ‘Chicken Shack’ in Boscombe in 2013 by Joshua Simons and Steve Crawford. After trademarking their brand, ‘Chicken & Blues’ was born and opened for business in two sites in Poole and Winton.
They went on to win a host of awards including ‘Best Takeaway’ at The British Takeaway Awards in 2017, and ‘Best family Restaurant’ at the Deliveroo UK Restaurant Awards in 2019.
And then opened a third location in Christchurch. They also have a food truck which can be booked for private and public events of all sizes.
