Nick’s Farm in Bournemouth caters for individuals of all ages with special needs by offering the support of animals.

The farm was originally founded in 2012 by Lucy (Nicks sister) and Kieran. It wasn’t until 2022 that they opened their doors to the general public.

They now offer a variety of services such as young farmer workshops, home education programmes, goat & sheep trekking, and birthday parties.

Kieran said:

“My brother in law, Nick, which is where the farm name comes from, he has lots disabilities, he is wheelchair bound. He always comes here on a Thursday. So we shut on Thursdays to give him some space.”

Here is an audio clip in which Kieran talks about what the farm does in more detail.

Nicks Farm has also recently announced on their Facebook page that they are partnering up with Back On Track. They also collaborate with the BCP council.

They dedicate their work to teaching and preparing young kids with essential life skills which will set them for success in the future.
