Ryan Gosling is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Ken in the hit blockbuster.
Director Greta Gerwig and star Margot Robbie missed out on any nominations.
Gosling released a scathing reaction to the Oscar’s Barbie snubs expressing his disappointment over the two women being overlooked in their individual categories.
Ryan Gosling compiled a statement and sent it out to various media outlets.
“To say I’m disappointed” Is an “Understatement.”
“There is no Ken without Barbie.” Ryan Gosling said in a statement
Gosling went on to give his co-star America Ferrera recognition for her nomination as Best Supporting Actor in the Barbie movie.
