Supreme Cage Fighting Championships 22 coming to Bournemouth in February

January 11, 2024 //  by Sub Editor

Supreme Cage Fighting Championships (SCFC) is an MMA organisation operating out of Bournemouth and their 22nd event is being held at the O2 Academy Bournemouth.

Created by former kickboxing world champion Natalie Bee and business partner Jordan Partner, they hosted their first MMA event in February 2015 under the name Showtime MMA, nine years on and their events are as successful as ever.

SCFC will host a mix of amateur and professional MMA events on the night of February 10th, including three title fights.

In their most recent event in October 2023 they hosted twenty-three bouts, twelve in MMA, three in boxing and eight in kickboxing, fifteen of which never reached the judges scorecards promising that another MMA event hosted by the same company with the same level of fighters will once again deliver huge excitement.

In the flyweight division Louis Clarke will take on defending champion Will Perrin to try and claim the belt, Perrin’s last fight in SCFC lasted only thirty-two seconds of the 2nd round when he defeated his opponent via TKO.

At heavyweight Tomasz Utczinski and Aidas Ceckauskas clash for the belt, both fighters are coming into the fight off the back of two wins on the bounce and will both be looking to snap the others’ win streak.

The third title fight of the night is an amateur bout at welterweight between Emmanuel Ojo and Iraj Montano, Ojo is the vastly more experienced fighter with five more bouts to his record however he is on a two-fight loss streak without a victory since 2022.

By the night of the event there will be around 25 fights so keep an eye out for even more excitement.
