BBC Two’s Winterwatch premieres live from RSPB Arne on the shores of Poole Harbour.

The much-loved nature series Winterwatch 2025 returns to BBC Two on Tuesday, 21 January, at 8:00 PM. Broadcasting live from the breathtaking Nature Reserve in Dorset, the programme promises a captivating journey into the heart of wildlife that Dorset offers during winter.

Hosts Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan, and Iolo Williams will bring viewers closer to the natural world, exploring how animals adapt and thrive during the harshest season.

The reserve, including the renowned RSPB Arne site, is the backdrop for stunning live footage following white-tailed sea eagles, foxes, deer, owls and other wildlife.

Winterwatch will also give viewers tips on participating in the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, helping citizens contribute to vital wildlife data.

Winterwatch 2025 will air nightly from 21 to 24 January at 8:00 PM on BBC Two.

For nature enthusiasts near Bournemouth, Dorset, the show highlights the beauty of local wildlife at one of the UK’s most diverse ecosystems.
