Asylum seeker barge Bibby Stockholm has been spotted leaving Portland Port yesterday afternoon.
It arrived at the Isle of Portland, Dorset, in July 2023.
In October of 2024, more than 300 residents of the barge were moved off and placed around several areas of the UK.
The remaining residents left in November 2024, and the vessel was decommissioned.
This followed after they announced in July 2024 that they would stop housing seekers on the vessel.
The last recorded number of residents before its departure were 500 males.
It has not been announced where the barge is going, and what it will be used for in the future.
