Dorset Police have appealed for information and CCTV images on multiple instances of bicycle theft in Poole.

The bicycles were reported stolen at 5:35pm on the 13th of January.

‘A blue Trek Marlin 6’ and a ‘red and blue Cube Reaction Race’ mountain bike were stolen from a bicycle store outside a property in the High Street.

The bikes were reportedly seen being ridden away towards Poole Quay.

Police Constable Kirt Holland, of Poole police, said:

“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into the theft of these bikes and I am appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“I am also issuing an image of the stolen bicycles and would urge anyone who comes across matching bikes being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.”

Another bicycle theft happened in Poole at around 1.30pm on Friday 20 December 2024.

The bikes were reportedly stolen from a bike rack in the area of Poole Bus Station.

Officers have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to identify in connection to the theft.

The bike is described as an orange-coloured men’s Carrera Vengeance Pedal Cycle.

Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this theft and we are now in a position to release CCTV images of a man we are looking to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101.
