The Bournemouth Eagles Badminton second team resumed their impressive run in form in a 10-2 win over Christchurch last night.

The Eagles won two of their three matches on the night, taking the victory in the men’s and mixed games, however, they just fell short in the women’s game.

Harry Dye, Bournemouth Eagles 2s player, said: “We came out the blocks really fast and clicked right from the start”.

This is the first time the Eagles have played in this division, with all their members having played together in different leagues prior to now.

Hayley Mackay, Bournemouth Eagles 2s Captain, said: ““It’s been going well, I think we’ve all gelled pretty well”.

The Eagles are unbeaten overall in their division this season. When asked about their team aspirations this season, Mackay said: “Our first team is in the first division so we’re hoping to be promoted to play against them. That’s what we’re aiming for.”

The team will be looking to extend their impressive run in their next matchup against the Poole Dolphins on the 28th February.
