Mark Travers has joined Middlesbrough F.C. on loan until the end of the season, the 25-year-old has made five Premier League appearances this season for AFC Bournemouth but since first-choice goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, made his return from injury, the Irishman has not seen to the field.
Michael Carrick’s side have faced injuries to first and second-choice goalkeepers Sol Brynn and Seny Dieng, leaving Boro with their third-choice goalkeeper to fill in.
Travers is no stranger to the Sky Bet Championship as he played all 46 fixtures for the Cherries during their promotion back to the Premier League in the 2021/22 season.
