Prince Harry and News Group Newspapers, owned by Rupert Murdoch, have finally reached a settlement for the phone hacking case started in 2019.
The sum, although not yet confirmed, reaches into eight figures according to ITV Royal Correspondent Chris Ship.
The Media Mogul was forced to apologise to Prince Harry, who fought the case alongside former Labour Deputy Leader, Lord Tom Watson.
The victory was recognised as “monumental” for the Prince.
Former victims of the Sun phonehacking scandal, such as actor Hugh Grant, have endorsed and donated to Hacked Off, a campaign started in 2011 to support public figures who fell victim to unlawful information gathering by journalists.
