Residents in Zetland Court have come together to knit blankets and hats for the Poole Hospital maternity unit.

Tatiana Lancing is the activity co-ordinator at Zetland Court, she came up with the idea to reach out to the ward and to keep the residents busy.

One of the residents told Buzz: “I would love to give the babies their blankets, I am so thrilled about it!”

Another resident said: “We had found figuring out how the machines work and have already planned big projects for the future.”

The ladies from Zetland Court will personally deliver the hats and blankets to the maternity ward at Poole Hospital.

Tatiana said: “Our ladies will present what we made and they are so happy about that because no one believed we could make and we did. This is a special thing for our ladies.”
