The BRITs nominees for 2025 were released yesterday, Charli XCX leads the nominations with five nominations out of 14 categories.

The 2025 BRITs will be the 45th edition of the ceremony, presented by British Phonographic Industry and will recognise the best British and International music of 2024.

The Beatles are up for an award for the first time since 1977, they’re nominated for song of the year – Now and Then.

Charli XCX album Brat dominated the charts last year, debuting at number 2 before scaling to the top spot three months after its release in June.

The album has earned Charli five Brit categories: Artist of the year, Album of the year, Dance act, Pop act, and song of the year for her single Guess featuring Billie Eilish.

Dua Lipa follows closely behind with nominations in four categories including artist of the year, album of the year, song of the year and best pop act.

The awards show will take place on Saturday 1st March and will take place at the O2 Arena in London.
