Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen has been a revelation in defence on the south coast.
Coming in for an injured Marcos Senesi, the 19 year old has made 17 appearances for the Cherries after joining from Juventus last window for £15.2m.
Now, Huijsen is attracting attention from other Premier League clubs, with price tags in the £40-50m range.
There’s also rumours of Arsenal and Liverpool eyeing the young defender.
Sports magazine ‘Football Insider’ claims Andoni Iraola spoke highly of the player, and former Man United and Blackburn chief scout, Mick Brown, told the publication that Bournemouth should fight tooth and nail to keep him at the club.
The defender, who has racked up eight clean sheets and two goals during his time at the Vitality, has a release cause added to his contract as of next summer.
While it remains to be seen how much next summers release clause is set to, Bournemouth are currently demanding a minimum of £50m to part ways with the Spanish u21 international.
