England have named an unchanged side for the third T20 against India in Rajkot today.
Batter Jamie Smith has been retained after he made 22 from 12 balls on his T20 international debut in the defeat in the second match of the series.
Brandon McCullum’s side are currently 2-0 down in the five-match series.
Fast Bowler Mark Wood hopes his side can get into the win column in the third encounter , “The first game there was a big gulf in the match, but it was much tighter and entertaining in last game, hopefully we can close the gap in this one and get the win this time”.
He knows what he and the rest of the bowlers have to do to increase their chances.
“As a fast-bowling group we are going to keep coming these next three games and keep charging to get wickets and that’s what we are going to do going forward.”
