Europa League Final Day: What to look out for?

Tonight concludes the inaugural Europa League league phase.

Two English sides are in action, amongst the 18 matches taking place tonight.

Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently 6th on 14 points only need a win against Elfsborg to guarantee them a spot in the last 16.

After last weeks late 2-1 win against Rangers, Manchester United moved up to fourth in the league table with 15 points, meaning victory at Romanian side FCSB will secure a top-eight finish. A draw however could be enough depending on results elsewhere.

Rangers may have suffered frustration against United, but they have still done enough to secure at least a place in the play-off round. They sit 13th on 11 points, three ahead of Porto in 25th place.

Lazio have almost certainly finished 1st in the new Europa league table format and have cemented their place in the knockouts as the Italians have 19 points from seven games, six more points than Galatasaray in ninth with just one game remaining.

Anderlecht, Athletic Bilbao, AZ Alkmaar, Bodo/Glimt, Eintracht Frankfurt, FCSB, Galatasaray, Lyon, Olympiakos, Union SG, and Viktoria Plzen are all assured at least a spot in the play-off round, in addition to the three British teams.

Dynamo Kyiv, Nice, Qarabag, Ludogorets, Malmo, Slavia Prague and RFS are all mathematically unable to finish in the top 24.
