Arsenal have been successful in their appeal of Myles Lewis-Skelly’s controversial red card that he received last Saturday.
Michael Oliver was the referee responsible for issuing the red card to Lewis-Skelly for his challenge on Matt Doherty in the Gunners 1-0 win against Wolves
The challenge which was deemed as serious foul play and resulted in a straight red card, left Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta “absolutely fuming” and the rest of the football world baffled with the decision.
Arsenal’s academy prospect was set to receive a three-match ban, however the club appealed the decision to the FA on Tuesday and Lewis-Skelly’s ban was revoked last night making him available for selection for the Gunners huge clash against Manchester City on Sunday.
