Dr Mohammad Siddiqui, 58, Birmingham, has been sentenced to over five years in prison following an investigation into illegal circumcisions.
Siddiqui has admitted multiple offences relating to assault occasionally actual bodily harm, illegal administration of prescription-only medication during non-therapeutic male circumcision procedures and child cruelty.
He pleaded guilty to 25 charges, some of which related to offences that happened across the south of England and the West Midlands.
This includes Dorset, Hampshire, Birmingham, London, and Berkshire.
This sentencing occurred at Inner London Crown Court today, following Siddiqui’s guilty plea at Southwark Crown Court on October 29 2024.
