Bournemouth man Jason Dean is hosting an event to celebrate his life and raise money for Dorset Cancer Foundation.

On the 9th of February, Jason is running an event to celebrate his time in ‘showbiz’. It will start at 1pm and finish 11 pm.

There will be 10 different acts/tributes performing at the event, all of which Jason has met over his years in the industry.

The event will also play host to an auction run by Jason and Harry Redknapp, located at La Mia’s restaurant in Poole which has been gifted as a venue for free.

Jason Dean said: “I don’t know what my life expectancy is, so what I wanted to do was have a big party full of entertainment as it has been my life.”

The acts range from a Stevie Knicks tribute, to Jenny Oag, and many more artists.

The owner, Carly Jervis-Goode, said: “it’s a great event for family and friends as well and it’s a celebration, this is not a morbid thing, this is a celebration.”

Tickets have been made available from £20 which will get donated to charity, while it is not being run as a fundraiser Jason has said any money he can donate is “better than nothing.”
