Manchester United relied on late brilliance from starlet Amad Diallo, as the reds defeated Southampton 3-1 at Old Trafford in the Premier League this evening.

The Saints went in at the break a goal up. Manuel Ugarte put the ball in the back of his own net with a couple of minutes left of the first half.

The scored stayed at 1-0 to the away side up until the the 82nd minute when Diallo turned on the style.

The Ivorian winger scored an outstanding hat-trick inside the final 10 minutes to deny Southampton a first win in 10 games and in turn, giving Ruben Amorim’s side a first league victory since their Manchester derby scalp last month.

Despite the Saints dominating large parts of the contest, they remain bottom of the league and ten points off of safety, whilst the Red Devils climb three places up to 12th .
