Diverse Abilities, a Dorset based disability charity is launching a new lunch event for 2025.
The ‘Lunch with….’ Series will bring together a variety of speakers who’ll share tales, experiences and anecdotes.
The events are focusing on delivering talks that help the Diverse Abilities community build mental resilience and wellbeing.
Their first event will host an all-female panel to celebrate International Women’s Day, and will feature Stella Mills, Anna Turney and Helena Bourdillon.
Stella Mills is a freelance sports broadcaster, who has worked for the likes of BBC, and TalkSport, while Anna Turney is a Paralympic skier for Team GB. Helena Bourdillon is a GB freediver and world record holder.
Demi Tarrant, events executive at Diverse Abilities, said “we are really looking forward to our first event of the series, and to hear some inspiring talks about mental health and wellbeing through a series of talks from sports women.”
“As well as enjoying great food and drink and raising money to support children and adults with disabilities in the Dorset area.”
Their first event will take place on Friday 7th March at the Village Hotel in Bournemouth, to sign up or know more head to https://diverseabilities.org.uk/daevents/lunch-with
