While AFC Bournemouth beating Nottingham Forrest 5-0 took the headlines at the weekend, there were plenty of Dorset non-league clubs in action.

Weymouth, Poole Town, Wimborne Town, Bournemouth FC and Hamworthy United all lost, while Hamworthy Recreation overcame Hamble to move into the top five of the Wessex League.

In the National League South, bottom of the league Weymouth drew 1-1 with Enfield who sit one place above them. Both sides finished the game with only ten men and their goals each came from spot kicks, with Jake McCarthy converting for the Terras in the final moments of the game.

Poole Town were defeated 2-1 by Havant and Waterlooville, with former Southampton striker Ryan Seager netting both goals for the Portsmouth based club.

Elsewhere in the Southern League Premier South, Wimborne lost 1-0 to Tiverton with Nat Jarvis scoring for the Devonshire outfit.

In the Wessex Premier, Bournemouth Poppies lost 2-0 to Fareham while Hamworthy Recreation beat Hamble 3-2.

In the Wessex Division One, Hamworthy United lost 2-1 at home to Totton and Eling.
