AFC Bournemouth earned a point away to Chelsea in the Premier League, in a four-goal thriller with plenty of chances.

The Cherries came back from a one nil deficit after Cole Palmer scored a superb finish, toying with Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.

The home side were a goal up going into the break at half-time, however, Bournemouth struck quickly after the restart with a penalty which was won by Antoine Semenyo, following a foul by Moises Caicedo.

Early substitute Justin Kluivert tucked the penalty past Robert Sanchez and the Cherries were level.

Semenyo put the Cherries into a 2-1 lead with a thunderbolt of a strike, in which he evaded Josh Acheampong and powered the ball into Sanchez’s near post with his weak foot.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca introduced some players throughout the latter stages of the game which included the likes of Reece James, Tosin Adarabioyo, Joao Felix and Pedro Neto, and Andoni Iraola brought on Daniel Jebbison.

Five minutes into stoppage time, Chelsea’s captain James curved a freekick past Travers which cost the away side two points.

AFC Bournemouth will next face Newcastle United away at St James’s Park, with Chelsea hosting a rejuvenated Wolves.

Put in a strong performance for the Cherries on the left side.

A very good performance from Brooks, who the fans in the away stand were pleased by, as shown by their chants for the Welshman throughout the game.
