Dorset Police have appealed to the public for any information regarding a missing man, last seen leaving Poole hospital.

Alan, aged 50, left Poole hospital on Longfleet Road on Sunday 29 December and has not been seen since.

He is described by Dorset police to be around 5ft 9 inches tall, with a slim build and tattoos on both arms.

Inspector Nick Lee, of Dorset Police, said:

“While we have no information to indicate Alan has come to any harm, he has not been seen for a number of days now and we are keen to locate him and make sure that he is all right.

“From our enquiries we understand he has previously been in the Dundee area of Scotland.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or who has come across a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

“I would also like to make a plea to Alan to get in touch with us and let us know where you are. We just want to check that you are OK.”

Dorset police provided a CCTV image of Alan to aid in finding him.

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Alan’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250003403.
