Southampton U21’s Face Anderlecht U21’s in the Premier League International Cup

Southampton U21’s will face Anderlecht U21’s tonight in the Premier League International Cup 2025.

The fixture will be played at local National league side, Eastleigh FC’s Silverlake Stadium with a kick-off time of 7pm.

Southampton sit in seventh place in Group D, while their opponents sit rock bottom after three games.

The two sides come into this game in poor form, picking up just three points in six games between them, having faced tough opposition like Sporting and Chelsea.

The Saints just edge their opponents after a 4-1 win against German side RB Leipzig in October, thanks to a brace from Scotland U19 striker Rory Macleod.

A win would see Southampton move up two places in the table ahead of Crystal Palace and Spanish side Real Sociedad who edged the Hampshire side to a 4-3 win last month, with two goals in the last ten minutes stealing the points on the day.

Despite their form in the Premier league International Cup, the Saints sit comfortably in the top half of the Premier League 2 in eighth place scoring nine in their last two games against Fulham and Newcastle.

Form that they will be looking to replicate tonight and pick up more points in a bid to continue their run the Premier League International Cup.
