In the latest of President Trump’s reforms as he begins his second term in office, he is halting the arrival of already cleared refugees into the United States.
This follows an executive order signed on Monday 21 January, mere hours after Trump returned to office.
The order runs alongside his campaign agenda on migration into the USA.
A State Department email sent to groups working with new arrivals stated that “All previously scheduled travel to the United States is being cancelled”
However, the email says that refugees that have already settled in the U.S. will continue to receive government services.
