A bright light covered the sky and could be seen as far as the A31 New Forest.
It had been believed that lights at the AFC Bournemouth Vitality Stadium had caused the glow.
However, the Cherries were playing away that evening against Chelsea in London.
A similar glow was seen in December 2022, and it was believed that it was caused by UV lights in the stadium, which had been there for 10 years.
Extra-terrestrial rumours have been discredited since.
But many had still felt confused by the glow and claimed it had never been seen before.
On January 15th, the orange covered the sky once again.
Green Party Councillor for East Cliff and Springbourne, Sarah Armstrong, met with AFC Bournemouth’s Corporate Director on 21st January after concerns were made to the party.
The Councillor checked out the lights, passed on residents’ concerns, and took the opportunity to discuss other matters regarding the club and community.
