It has been a tough period for Weymouth FC.
The Terras sit bottom of the National League South, 12 points from safety.
Manager Warren Feeney, who joined the club in December 2024, said: “I am disappointed with the way things have been.”
“Not many sides have been clearly the better team against us, but we are struggling to put the ball in the back of the net.”
A 1-0 defeat to Worthing on Saturday made it three losses in a row, with their last league win coming in early November.
Feeney said: “We had enough chances on Saturday to win the game.”
“Worthing had a lot of possession, but we had one effort cleared off the line and another bounced back off the crossbar.”
But it does not get much easier for The Terras as they welcome promotion hopefuls Maidstone United to the Bob Lucas Stadium tonight.
Feeney spoke to Buzz News reporter Will Lacey ahead of the game:
George Elokobi’s side sit 5th, three points behind leaders Torquay United.
Feeney has been impressed with The Stones, but is looking forward to the contest: “They are one of the big hitters and I have lot of respect for them. They just lost their unbeaten run which was an unbelievable record.
“We have got to be competitive and fight, as it is another chance to put things right.”
Weymouth kick off at 19:45pm this evening at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
Tickets are priced at £18 for adults and £14 for concessions.
