AFC Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has praised break-out start Junior Kroupi ahead of this weekend’s clash with Nottingham Forest.

Kroupi has scored thee goals in his five appearances this season showing that when he has had the chance he’s made his mark.

He started his first game against Crystal Palace and scored an emphatic brace.

Iraola praised the strikers “natural instinct” as he will look to capitalise on further opportunities

With star striker Evanilson out injured, Kroupi has fully grabbed his chance in the starting striker spot for the Cherries.

In his press conference Iraola praised the young starlet for scoring twice and expressed disappointment that the team couldn’t deliver a win despite his efforts.

Iraola said he wanted Kroupi to “keep pushing” now that he has the taste for goals and the “internal competition” is great for him and the team.

Bournemouth face Nottingham Forest on Sunday who have newly appointed Sean Dyche after sacking Ange Postecoglou.

This will be a tough test for the Dorset side as Forest will look to bounce back after poor results but they are more than capable of rising to the challenge.
