Excitement is building in Westbourne ahead of the grand opening of Luca’s Takeaway this Sunday, as residents look forward to welcoming the café to the heart of their neighbourhood.
Kresh and Jody Krasniqi decided to follow their dreams and open a café after moving to the area to raise their son Luca, whom they named the café after.
Upon relocating to the area to raise their son, Luca, Kresh and Jody Krasniqi were inspired to pursue their dream of opening a café, which they named in his honour.
It was revealed that this weekend, Paul Hollywood, the renowned television baker and close friend of the couple, will make a special appearance at the event. He is expected to meet customers and host an exclusive book signing between 11:30am an 12:30pm.
News of the new café and Hollywood’s visit has delighted residents, with many talking about their excitement and support.
The occasion is expected to draw strong local interest and mark a positive addition to Westbourne’s growing café scene.
Local businesses have also welcomed the opening, saying it will help boost footfall and add new energy to the high street.
Lisa Cormac, 54, is a local to Westbourne and told BUzz news, “It’s very exciting, isn’t it? It’s a lovely café, unique compared to the rest of the high street, but yes, the visit from Paul is very exciting.”
Cormac added, “It’s always lovely to see new things in town, it adds a special buzz to the community.”
