Snap Fitness are opening a new 24-hour access ‘state-of-the-art’ fitness centre on Wimborne Road in Winton.

The new gym will occupy the 9,000sq. ft. area first floor of the former Wilko site, alongside a separate B&M store, and will offer a range of facilities including group fitness classes, an infrared sauna, and a dedicated reformer Pilates studio.

The franchise gym will offer members 24-hour access to its facilities, as well as access to its ‘Snap App’ and any other Snap Fitness location.

There are 107 Snap Fitness locations across the UK and Ireland, including a Christchurch location which opened in 2020, and over 1000 worldwide.

The site in Winton is currently under construction and set to open in December this year.

The franchise prides itself on its inclusive and accessible fitness experience for people of all abilities.

Club Manager, Josh Glover said:

“Our goal is to create a welcoming, modern fitness space that’s accessible to everyone, from beginners to experienced gym goers.

“Where everyone feels, comfortable, confident, and motivated to reach their goals.

“Our team focuses on building real relationships with members, its not just a gym it’s a community.”

Snap Fitness Winton operates under a franchise ownership model, meaning the gym will have freedom to shape its member experience to local needs, whilst still bringing the company’s core values, Glover explained.

Since 2020, Bournemouth have seen a number of other national gym franchises such as Pure Gym and JD Gyms open locations, offering competition and options for locals.

Whilst official prices are still to be released, to get the lowest prices possible interest can be registered at https://www.snapfitness.com/uk/gyms/winton .

Student discounts and flexible memberships will be offered.

The new facility will create several new job opportunities in the area, with the company recruiting class instructors, personal trainers and reformers Pilates instructors.

There are additional employment opportunities expected as the gym opens.
