October 24, 2025 //  by Jon Hopwood

Moors Valley had to postpone the opening of their Halloween Illuminated Trail because of a “Significant” theft.

Moors Valley Country Park, in Ashley Heath, was due to open their Halloween Illuminated Trail on Thursday 23 October.

Organisers delayed the event by 24 hours and cancelled the opening yesterday.

Ticket-holders should have received an email with more information.

It is now ready to open on Friday, 24 October.

Forestry England is hosting the event, which will run from Friday, 24 October, until Sunday, 2 November 2025.

Moors Valley is an award winning Country Park, home to walking and bike trails, adventure play areas and nature sculptures.

It is also home to Go-Ape Treetop Adventures, a popular location for school trips.
