Snapfitness launches a new 24 hour gym in Winton

October 17, 2025 //  by Josh Laniyan

A new Snap Fitness gym is opening in the Winton, transforming the former Wilko building on Winbourne Road into a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

Spanning over 9,000 square feet , the gym will feature a wide range of facilities including Hi-Spec gym equipment, a treatment room, Pilates Studios and an Infrared sauna.

The Hammer strength branded equipment and other advanced machines designed to help members stay motivated.

Snap Fitness will provide free group classes for members and operate as a 24/7 access gym.

It will be staffed by fitness trainers who will be available to provide guidance and support to members.

A Winton local said: “The only other gym in the area is YMCA Winton, which is more of a community center that provides a gym and dance studio.

It’s good for the community to have a more established gym in the area that is easily accessible.”

This new gym will help create opportunities for a multitude of people looking to improve their fitness and be immersed in a community environment.

There are currently 107 gyms that Snap fitness sponsors across the UK and Ireland and there are more than 1,000 across the world.

The Winton site is still under construction, but it is expected to open soon.
