Love music hate racism has arrived in Bournemouth, putting on a non profit show at the anvil bar, in Lansdowne this Friday.
It is the first time the show has been played in Bournemouth, and aims to raise money for the charity Medical aid for Palestine.
The line up consists of several local indie and punk bands such as: Chimphouse, Kretinz as well as Blackbird.
The show aims to promote unity while also celebrating diversity, with their belief being the best way to do so being through music.
There has been overwhelming support for the show in the area, however those who do not agree have taken to posting online to share their grievances.
One Reddit user said in response to the announcement: “With a name like that, you know it’s going to be terrible.”
The show comes at a time in which reforms popularity grows in the BCP area, and aims to be a step in the direction of unity.
