Jeff Mostyn, the previous Chairman of the Bournemouth Football Club, told his story about his road to success.

He explained the deep emotional connection that he still holds with regards to the people he has worked with in managing the grounds and owning the club.

Not having the easiest childhood Jeff left school with no qualifications, but a key philosophy left with him by his parents.

He said: “My parents taught me that there were only three ways in life you could ever be successful, one was to work hard, the second one was to work hard, and the third one was to work hard.”

He then went on to say how all his life he’s has had maximum work ethic as he had no education.

His main philosophy stands in shining light as “By proving that my work ethic would allow me to achieve whatever I felt I could achieve with the right kind of support so what you have to do is demonstrate why you stand head and shoulders above the rest of your competition.”

Having such longevity in a successful career with the many years spent at AFC Bournemouth football club, Jeff Mostyn remains one of the most respected football chairmen of all time

Jeff Mostyn, the previous Chairman of the Bournemouth Football Club, told his story about his road to success.

He said: “It’s your personality, it’s your work ethic that is going to make you stand head and shoulders above everyone else.”

“In 2017 I was awarded an honorary doctorate by Bournemouth University, I was almost embarrassed because I had so many people around me in the Bournemouth International centre who had worked three plus years to achieve their degree.”
