Local Bournemouth Band to Support ‘Chimp House’ in Late November

Bournemouth-based alternative rock group The Rain Band is set to perform at Blue Line Studios later this month.

They will be supporting local band Chimp House alongside fellow acts Horsie and THINGSWECANTKEEP on the 28th of November.

Ticket prices start at £7 advanced and £10 on the door.

Formed earlier this year, the band originally started out as an Oasis cover group between January and April before shifting focus toward writing and performing original material.

Over the past six months, they’ve been developing their own sound — something they say fans can look forward to hearing soon.

Charlie Lubbock, lead singer and guitarist said: “We’re looking at trying to break Winchester as well.

“We’ve been in contact with a couple of promoters there, so it’s quite an interesting time to be following us.

“We’re really enjoying it and have a lot of faith in what we’re doing: hopefully, stuff will be out very soon.”
