Around 100 people showed their support for Iran by protesting in Bournemouth on Saturday.
This is in response to the protests happening in Iran, which have led to over 3000 deaths, according to the US- based Human Rights Activists News Agency.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency have not provided an exact number of people believed to be taking part in the protests so far, yet it is said that over 18,000 people protesting in Iran have been arrested.
This is the second protest for Iran, in Bournemouth Town Centre that happened last week.
Protesters are fighting on behalf of Iranians, following the second week of internet blackout, which meant families overseas had no way of contacting their loved ones.
A protester who asked to remain anonymous said: “We are trying to express to the entire world, support us, we are fighting.”
“We are not asking for charity, we are asking to shut down the embassies.”
The Demonstrations in Iran have been happening since the 28th of December. The protests began after the value of the Iranian currency drastically dropped again.
Inflation rose to 40%, which meant that everyday items, such as meat became incredibly expensive.
Donald Trump has been encouraging the demonstrations and said the US “will come to their rescue” if

Tehran kills peaceful protesters.
Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, said Trump was given an excuse to intervene after the protests “turned violent and bloody”.
The Iranian government has called the protests “riots” after protesters called for an end of the rule of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
On Saturday, Iran’s supreme leader publicly acknowledged that thousands of people have been killed in recent protests for the first time.
