Bournemouth secured a dramatic late win over Liverpool, while Everton fought back to earn a 1–1 draw with Leeds in a weekend of key Premier League action.

The Cherries produced a dramatic 3–2 win over Liverpool at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, snatching victory in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Amine Adli turned in the rebound following a long throw into the box, ensuring all three points for the hosts in a thrilling finish.

The result ended Liverpool’s 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions and was only Bournemouth’s second league win in 15 games this season. After falling behind in the first half, Liverpool appeared to have secured a draw through Dominik Szoboszlai’s fine free-kick equaliser, but Adli’s late intervention proved decisive.

Reflecting on the winner, Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola described it as “probably the best moment to score,” highlighting his side’s resilience after a challenging spell of form and the determination required to compete against top opponents.

Elsewhere at the top of the table, Manchester United edged Arsenal 3–2 at the Emirates Stadium in a closely contested encounter, dealing a setback to the Gunners’ title hopes. Manchester City returned to winning ways with a 2–0 victory over Wolves, while other contenders also collected valuable points in a tightly fought race that continues to shape the title battle.

At the other end of the table, Nottingham Forest boosted their survival hopes with a vital victory, easing some pressure in the relegation fight. Chelsea continued their push for a European spot with a 3–1 win over Crystal Palace, strengthening their position in the top half of the table.

The weekend concluded last night as Everton hosted Leeds at Hill Dickinson Stadium. Leeds took the lead through an early goal, but Everton responded to level the score and secure a point in a spirited encounter. Both sides will look to build on that performance as they seek greater consistency in the weeks ahead.

From dramatic late goals on the south coast to tight contests at either end of the table, the weekend’s fixtures highlighted the Premier League’s unpredictability and the fact that every point is becoming increasingly crucial as the season reaches its decisive stage.
