AFC Bournemouth have announced the signing of highly rated Brazilian forward Rayan from CR Vasco da Gama.
The 19-year-old signs a five-and-a-half-year contract at the club for a reported fee of £24.7m, with £5.6m in bonuses.
He made his debut for the Brazilian side at just 16 years of age, making him the youngest player in their history.

The Cherries have been light in the forward department in recent weeks after a month riddled with injuries so getting Rayan through the door was crucial in this busy fixture period.
Marcus Tavernier went off in the 1-1 draw with Brighton last Monday with a suspected hamstring injury.
In his press conference before the Liverpool game on Saturday, Andoni Iraola said: “It’s not the biggest of injuries, but it’s a muscle injury, he will be out for some time.”
David Brooks is also out injured after picking up an ankle injury in the clubs FA Cup tie against Newcastle a few weeks ago.
The biggest loss of recent weeks was the sale of star winger Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City.
The Ghanian moved up north for a reported fee of £64 million pounds after they triggered a release clause in his contract.
Semenyo had ten goals in the Premier League this season and the club are hoping that Rayan can be a worthy replacement.
Rayan could be in a Bournemouth shirt as soon as Saturday as the club make the trip to Molineux Stadium to face Wolves.
