AFC Bournemouth will be in for a boost after league rivals Crystal Palaces’ captain, Marc Guehi, will be leaving the club.

In his press conference this afternoon, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner confirmed Marc Guehi will be leaving and will be unavailable this weekend.

Glasner said: “My latest understanding is that a deal with Marc is in the final stages. I can’t confirm a club, because it’s still not done but it’s in the final stages.

“The result is that Marc doesn’t play tomorrow for us.”

Although he did not name a club, it has been widely reported that Manchester City are the frontrunner’s for the Englishman’s signature.

The Cherries sit 15th in the Premier League table, just two points behind Crystal Palace who are 13th.
