Person dies on tracks near Wool Railway Station

Police were called after reports of a casualty on the tracks this morning at around 7:50am.

Emergency services attended, and the person was pronounced dead on the scene.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Normal service has since resumed on South Western Railway between Weymouth and Bournemouth.
