AFC Bournemouth have confirmed that Romain Faivre has been recalled from his loan at Al Taawoun, now joining French side Auxerre until the end of the season.
Faivre joined Bournemouth from Lorient in the summer of 2023, but has only made five league appearances for the club in his two and a half years.
This summer, he joined Saudi Pro League outfit Al Taawoun on loan with an option to buy, but again struggled for minutes, playing five league games and scoring once.
He has now joined up with Ligue 1 Auxerre, who sit in the relegation zone with 12 points from 17 games.
Faivre will hope to recapture his previous form in France, having made over 100 league appearances for the likes of Lorient, Brest, Monaco and Lyon.
There is not reported to be a buy option in the deal.
