Dorset Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Sherborne.

Between Monday 12 January and Tuesday 20 January entry was forced into an address on Bristol Road where items including documents were stolen.

Police Constable Jamie Randell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from any witnesses with information that might assist our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant timeframe to please contact us.

“I would also ask residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras to please check their footage for anything that might help our enquiries.”

Dorset Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward and to contact them via the Dorset Police website or by calling 101, stating occurrence number 55260009305.

Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online by using its website or by calling Freephone 0800555111.

We will keep you updated as this investigation progresses.
