Dorset Police have made nine arrests this week in a crackdown on organised crime in Bournemouth.

The arrests included six men and one woman in their twenties, one man in his forties and another man in his sixties.

Officers seized many luxury goods including money, drugs, weapons, jewellery and high value vehicles.

In a statement from Dorset Police, Detective Superintendent Emma Sweetzer said: “We know the significant impact that drugs can have on our local communities and we will continue to do all we can to relentlessly pursue anyone suspected of being involved in this type of activity.”

A number of premises in Bournemouth are still being searched as part of the investigation.
